Welcome to the Florida Homicide Investigator’s Association web site.  The mission of the Florida Homicide Investigator’s Association (FHIA) is to provide investigative support, training, and networking opportunities to homicide investigators, prosecutors, and death investigation professionals throughout the State of Florida.  The “cornerstone” of our Association is our low cost, affordable annual training conference related to homicide case management and operational strategy as well as the latest advancements in forensic science and laboratory technologies.  During this five-day event, the participants experience notable case presentations and training seminars.  In addition, the conference provides an environment for networking, individual case evaluations and discussions of investigative techniques with some of the top investigators and prosecutors in Florida.
